L’Encantada XO Cigar Reserve

New L’Encantada XO: Cigar Reserve, for PM Spirits and L’Encantada. We set the design into a richly textured paper that felt like a cigar wrapping. 100% cask strength & no additives - this limited blend created in collaboration between the L’Encantada cellar masters and the PM Spirits team features choice armagnac casks ranging from the ‘youngest’ at 12 years old to the oldest at nearly 40 years from a 1986 vintage, with four additional casks mostly from the late 1980s and one 1990 cask. While there is a tradition for brandy houses to make a blend meant to match a great smoke, and this one indeed does that spectacularly, the paramount focus for PM here was to create a bold, complex and superlative Armagnac - period.
