Guillemot-Michel
Identity and package for some very limited bottlings from @domaine_guillemot_michel
From the vineyards of Domaine Guillemot-Michel comes a collection of farm-born spirits—crafted with the same devotion and precision that define their biodynamic wines. Centered in the Viré-Clessé appellation, this small family estate—led by Sophie & Gautier, second-generation vignerons—has revived the tradition of distillation in the Mâconnais. Using fruit and botanicals cultivated on their organically farmed land, they produce elegant expressions of eau de vie, supple brandies, and vivid, aromatic gins. Each bottle is a limited, unrepeatable impression of the land—distilled with care, from soil to still.
When developing an identity for the Guillemot-Michel distillations, we turned to the farm itself for inspiration. Amid the vines and stills, it’s the presence of the family’s cats—curious, calm, and ever observant—that offered the perfect symbol.
The label features a simple, elegant silhouette of a cat gazing upward, playfully engaged with a single grape leaf. It’s a quiet nod to the animals who roam the estate and a reflection of the vineyard’s personality.
